Resident Portal Saas Product

case study

Problem

Within senior care facilities, nurses faced challenges in efficiently tracking and managing the diverse needs of residents, which often resulted in miscommunication, delays, and potential lapses in care. The absence of a comprehensive tool tailored to their workflow hindered nurses’ ability to provide personalized and timely assistance, impacting the overall quality of care and resident satisfaction.

SOLUTION & IMPACT

In response to these challenges, I spearheaded the development of a specialized Software as a Service (SaaS) product designed to enhance the daily operations of nurses at senior care facilities. The SaaS product encompassed a user-friendly interface that allowed nurses to record and manage residents’ requirements, ranging from medication schedules to dietary preferences and activity plans. Leveraging the product’s features, nurses could efficiently communicate and collaborate, ensuring that the right care was delivered at the right time to each resident. The platform’s real-time updates, alerts, and reporting functionalities aimed to improve communication, minimize errors, and enhance the overall quality of care provided to seniors.

MY ROLE

  • User Experience
  • Visual Design

I assumed a pivotal role in shaping the vision and execution of the SaaS product for senior care facilities. Collaborating closely with both nursing staff and development teams, I led the design process from ideation to implementation. Through iterative design and prototyping, I translated insights into an intuitive interface that catered to the specific needs of nurses. In parallel, I collaborated with developers to ensure the technical feasibility and seamless integration of design elements. By facilitating user testing and feedback sessions, I refined the product to align with nurses’ expectations and optimize their workflow. Through my role, I contributed to the development of a transformative SaaS product that empowered nurses to deliver high-quality, personalized care to senior residents, fostering a more efficient and compassionate caregiving environment.
